Enjoy the taste of traditional Indian cuisine with this simple home-cooked dish! 🍛✨<br /><br />Ingredients:<br />Oil<br />1 Cup Akkha Masoor Dal (Soak for 30 minutes)<br />2 Cups of Water<br />2 Onions chopped<br />10-12 Chopped Garlic flakes<br />1 Tsp Cumin Seeds<br />2 Bay Leaves<br />1 Black Cardamom<br />1 Tsp Red Chilly Powder<br />½ Tsp Turmeric Powder<br />½ Tsp Coriander Powder<br />1 Small Lemon Size Tamarind<br />Salt as per taste<br />Coriander Leaves for garnishing.<br /><br />Method of Preparation: <br />1. Heat a Pressure Cooker & add little Oil.<br />2. Add 1 Tsp Cumin seeds, 2 Bay leaves, 1 Black Cardamom & stir for few minutes. <br />3. Add the chopped garlic & fry till light brown.<br />4. Add Chopped Onions & fry till translucent.<br />5. Add 1 Tsp Red Chilly Powder, ½ Tsp Turmeric Powder, ½ Tsp Coriander Powder & fry for few minutes.<br />6. Then add little water so that the added masalas don’t get burnt.<br />7. Add the soaked Masoor Dal with Water.<br />8. Add 1 Small Lemon Size Tamarind.<br />9. Add Salt as per taste.<br />10. Then add 2 Cups of water for 1 Cup Masoor Dal.<br />11. Pressure Cook for 2 whistles. <br />12.
